- "This assembled collection of photographs and clippings represents Italian paintings, drawings and prints of the 2nd through the 20th centuries through reproductions of the work of approximately 2,600 artists. The works of Fra Angelico, Giovanni Bellini, Botticelli, Agnolo Bronzino, Canaletto, Caravaggio, Correggio, Giotto, Giorgione, Francesco Guardi, Leonardo da Vinci, Lorenzo Lotto, Andrea Mantegna, Perugino, Piero della Francesca, Pinturicchio, Raphael, Giovanni Battista Tiepolo, Giovanni Domenico Tiepolo, Tintoretto, Titian, and Veronese are well represented. The collection contains photographs and clippings from numerous sources including commercial vendors and photographers, auction houses and galleries, and scholars' archives and collections, including a collection of clippings from Dr. Willem Rudolf Juynboll and a collection of photographs from Duveen Brothers. The images document Italian paintings and drawings in a number of museums and private collections, including the National Gallery of Modern Art, Rome, the Poldi-Pezzoli Museum, the Brera Gallery, Milan, the National Gallery, London, the British Museum, the Musée du Louvre, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the National Gallery of Art, the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and the Art Institute of Chicago."
