Johannes Zehrung (b.1706) immigrated from Germany to Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. He married first Anna Maria Crumm on May 7, 1730. They were the parents of six children. Anna Maria died Dec. 1, 1742. On Mar. 27, 1744, Johannes married Anna Maria Uhr. They were the parents of three children. Johannes married third Anna Elizabeth Lotz on May 2, 1760. They had one child. Descendants of Johannes and his wives scattered after the revolutionary war to Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois and elsewhere. Many of them spell their surname as Zaring.
