State of the Black Union 2006

A two-part discussion forum based on the book "The Covenant with Black America" writtten to express the concerns of the African American community and to establish a new direction towards affecting social and political change; but more importantly to stimulate dialogue of how best to present African American concerns to both the black community and the American society as a whole. The panel also addressed specific issues of concern. The program concludes with a musical presentation by gospel singer Fred Hammond.
