A man is reunited with his teenage daughter after spending years in a mental institute. When he becomes obsessed that ancient treasure is buried under his home, his daughter decides to go along with his antics.

Bien que réticente devant cette nouvelle idée saugrenue et les nombreux désagréments qu'elle engendre, Miranda finit par l'aider dans sa quête et se fait embaucher au supermarché. Pour avoir une chance de creuser dans le sous-sol, il faut déjouer les systèmes de sécurité et en obtenir la clef.
