Lt Commander Edward Yorke of the Royal Navy is recruited by the Anti-Submarine Intelligance Unit to secretly steal a German Enigma III code machine from a Nazi U-boat. He plans a daring escapade to lure the U-boat by pretending to be a shipwreck survivor.
