"Dingle Swamp, a high altitude marsh, is located in the extreme southeastern corner of Idaho in Bear Lake Valley. The 16,000 acre marsh, one of the largest in the state, is separated from Bear Lake by only a narrow curved sandbar. Numerous islands, ponds, and channels diversify the characteristic bulrush vegetation of the marsh. The largest body of water, Mud Lake, is approximately 1 square mile in area. Several thousand muskrats and fair numbers of waterfowl, particularly Canada geese, are produced annually on the marsh."@en . . .
