Mother India

The story of the survival of a simple housewife, whose husband leaves her after he looses his hands in an accident at his farms. He also leaves their two sons with her. The elder one grows up to be the nice and hadworking one where as the younger one is the worthless, angry type, getting everyone into trouble. There is a beautiful portrayal of the mother's emotions towards her sons, and how she fights all obstacles after she is left alone.
