The Mau Mau

March 27, 1953, Lari, Kenya. Shocked British troops search through the charred remains of a village. It had been attacked the night before by terrorists. They trapped the villagers in their huts, poured gasoline on the roofs and set them on fire. Hundreds of people died in the raging inferno. Others were hacked to death as they are tried to escape. Most of them were women and children. The murderous gang were all members of a ruthless organization known as the Mau Mau.
