This is the catalog of an exhibition of "Priam's Treasure" held in April 1996 at the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts in Moscow. Superb color photographs of the Pushkin exhibition artifacts are accompanied by extensive individual commentaries. The objects, now generally thought to date to the second half of the 3rd millenium B.C., a thousand years earlier that the fabled city Schliemann was seeking - are from 13 separate treasures excavated by Schliemann, and include precious jewelry such as diadems, rings, bracelets, pendants, beads and earrings, as well as figurines vessels and axes.
