Numerous manscripts, wills and land deeds from Boone family history are included, and the book's index contains about 15,000 names. While primarily a genealogy of the Boone family, this book also contains many unpublished bits of early Kentucky history and a biographical sketch of Daniel Boone, the most famous of the Boone family, written by one of his descendants.
