Distributed constraint satisfaction : foundations of cooperation in multi-agent systems

This book gives an overview of constraint satisfaction problems (CSPs), adapts related search algorithms and consistency algorithms for applications to multi-agent systems, and consolidates recent research devoted to cooperation in such systems.
