Zero hour

When the beautiful 20-year-old daughter of a Moldovan businessman goes missing from her university, British Intelligence will do anything in its power to track her down. A terrorist group is on the brink of obtaining a code that will jam every item of military hardware from Washington to Kabul. Jets and helicopters will fall from the sky. Communications and weapons systems will fail. The West will be brought to its knees. Only one man can find and stop the perpetrator, but for the first time in his life Nick Stone doesn't want to play ball.

  • "When the daughter of a Moldovan businessman goes missing from her university, British Intelligence want Nick Stone, the only man ruthless enough, to track her down - but this time he doesn't want to play ball... FACT: On 5 September, 2007, Israeli jets bombed a suspected nuclear installation in north-eastern Syria - its supposedly state-of-the-art radar failed to provide warning of the attack. FACT: Known only to the Israelis and the radar's manufacturers, the commercial microprocessors within it contained a remotely accessible kill switch. But what is the raid's connection with the missing student? What is the secret to Britain's security to which, unwittingly, she holds the key? And when Stone is tasked to find and abduct her, why is he not on 'receive'?"
  • "SAS-agent Nick Stone heeft nog maar een paar maanden te leven en laat zich nog eenmaal overtuigen om een opdracht voor de dienst uit te voeren als de 20-jarige dochter van een Moldavische zakenman is verdwenen."
