Reproductive health essentials : securing the supply
Reliable access to contraceptives and other commodities is a fundamental requirement for reproductive health, yet millions of women in developing countries go without these essentials, leaving them vulnerable to unwanted pregnancy and the risk of getting STDs. This pamphlet reviews the demand versus the supply issues and touches on the harsh human reality of the commodity shortage. It also introduces a new global strategy for reproductive health commodity security and provides a framework for such a system.
