Genuinely odd animated feature based on a Broadway musical about Archy, the lovesick cockroach, and Mehitabel, a hedonistic cat and object of his affection. Not relly for children.

"This "animated musical explores the adventures of Archy (Eddie Bracken), a philosophical cockroach who writes poetry, and a seductive, free-spirited cat named Mehitabel, memorably voiced by Carol Channing. Archy adores the blonde, hip-swaying Mehitabel, but she prefers her alley cats, including hambone theater cat Tyrone T. Tattersall (John Carradine) and the gruff tomcat Big Bill (The Flintstones' Alan Reed). The more serious Archy tries to rescue Mehitabel from her wild lifestyle, but to no avail! "--Cover."
