Johnson and discrimination in sports; and footage of race violence, KKK rallies, protest marches, tennis matches of Ashe and of McEnroe, Ashe's trips to South Africa, black social conditions in South Africa, Ashe's press conference announcing he has AIDS, and scenes from his funeral. Also includes a poem about Ashe written and read by Maya Angelou.
