  • ""Proceedings of the biennial symposiums of the ICTM Study Group on Ethnochoreology represent the most systematic way in which the Study Group disseminates the results of scientific activity by its members. The volumes make possible for the readers to follow year by year the current research topics that are in the focus of the ethnochoreological research spanning an international range. Papers were published by the local organizers of the symposiums in various places in different countries, sometimes in a small number of copies. That is why students and new researchers of ethnochoreology all over the world have difficulties to access them. Members of the Study Group by the initiation of the Board, have agreed to make the proceedings available to a wide range of interested people in DVD format. The content contains more than 300 papers, biennial accounts of the Sub-Study Group activities, materials of the thematic panels, and so on. Written materials are illustrated with photos, kinetograms by Labanotation, musical notes and drawings. This electronic publication is one of the projects dedicated to the forthcoming 50th anniversary in 2012 of the establishment of the Study Group on Ethnochoreology." -- from case."
