Ohne Musik oder Geräusche liest der Sprecher (vgl. a. die "Wellenläufer"Trilogie, zuletzt MI 18/05) prononciert und erzeugt bis zum fesselnden Schluss treffend die jeweils passende Atmosphäre. Ganz besonders überzeugend sind die hervorragend gesprochenen Figuren und die stimmige Umsetzung der Dialoge. Auf den Papphüllen der einzelnen CDs befinden sich Informationen zu Autor, Sprecher und Buch ein Verzeichnis der einzeln ansteuerbaren Kapitel pro CD, das den Wiedereinstieg nach Pausen erleichtert hätte, fehlt jedoch. Gleiches Cover wie das Buch und wie dieses sicherlich ein Renner.. Eragon, 15, findet einen seltsamen blauen Stein ein Drachenei. An der Seite des Drachen Saphira wird Eragon zum Drachenreiter. Doch Galbatorix, der grausame Herrscher, weiß, dass schon die Macht eines einzigen ihm gefährlich werden kann. Gnadenlos verfolgt er Eragon ... Ab 13."
