In "Wonder Woman Meets Baroness Von Gunther," Steve Trevor battles for his life and his career when he's accused of espionage and treason in relation to a series of military missions that have gone awry due to acts of sabotage. Investigating the situation, and determined to clear the man she loves, Wonder Woman learns that Trevor is being framed by a Nazi spy ring. In "Fausta, The Nazi Wonder Woman," Hitler's handpicked agent, Fausta Grables, is sent to America to capture Wonder Woman, using a kidnapped Major Steve Trevor as bait. While Wonder Woman frees Trevor, she herself is taken prisoner and brought to Nazi Germany so that Hitler can learn the secret of her powers. It is then up to Steve to mount a rescue mission of his own.
