Anti-draft rally

Ron Kovic, Vietnam Vet, burns draft registration form from his wheelchair in front of the Federal Building. A crowd of over 100 marched, chanted, passed out literature, and listened to speeches by Henry Gibson, the TV comic, John Sack, and Barry Commoner, who was present, but did not speak. Kovic said he did not want his 19year old brother to become victim in the draft as he did in the Vietnam War. Photograph dated July 22, 1980.
