"Alexander Calder (1898-1976) débute sa carrière à Paris, en 1926. Il construit un ensemble original constitué de centaines de figurines réalisées à partir de matériaux de récupération et animées par des mécanismes rudimentaires, qu'il met en scène lors de spectacles musicaux.
