"This study links detailed information on the Ewe piece 'Agahu" and Reich's work title "Drumming". The first half is devoted to background information on Ewe music and culture and concludes with an analysis of 'Agahu'. Following chapters emphasize biographical information on Reich along with exploration of musical concepts such as phase-shifting.
