Review of RAND Europe's transport demand model systems
This report describes six major transport demand modeling systems that have been developed by RAND Europe for sponsors in six different countries. The models allow a wide range of urban and regional transport policy options to be analyzed and are developed using a common approach but with considerable adaptation to local circumstances. The structure of the models and the principles on which they are based are described and compared.
