  • "The Ica Stones are a collection of strange and mysterious engraved stones of the andesite type that were found in 1961 in Ocucaje in the coastal province of Ica. The Peruvian physician Javier Cabrera who unveiled these stones identified the print as a drawing of a fish that had become extinct millions of years before. These stones are characterized by being decorated with engraved figures representing prehistoric animals, men and scenes of life very different from what the archaeological studies recorded on the fauna and the life of the men of the classical cultures of ancient Peru. Scientific studies have never been able to determine the origin of the original strata of the stones or have detected signs of antiquity in the engraved marks, which would be normal after thousands of years, so scientists have concluded that the marks have been done recently and have determined the stones a fraud."
