In 1968, Palle Nielsen created Modellen. En modell för ett kvalitativt smahälle (The model : a model for a qualitative society) at the main gallery in the Moderna Museet of Stockholm. This interactive art installation was a mixture of playground and modern art. This book includes texts about The Model, art activism and playground activism and writings by Palle Nielsen from 1968-1969.
