Ici, /Ti!kay, un garçon de treize ans a tué sa première grande proie sauvage. Il est aidé par son père et deux autres hommes pour dépecer l'animal et couper la viande qui est apportée ensuite au village. La cérémonie de scarification a lieu, symbolisant l'importance de la chasse et le changement de statut de /Ti!kay, son passage de garçon à celui d'homme.
