What happened in the tunnel
"The first scene takes place on a set of a passenger car on a moving train. Seated beside her black maid is the heroine; behind her is the hero. The young lady is reading and drops her handkerchief. It is immediately retrieved by the hero, who returns it to her but continues holding her hand. The hero starts to kiss the heroine just as the train enters a tunnel. The picture ends as the train has come out of the tunnel. We find that our hero has embraced the black maid and not the young lady"--Early motion pictures / Kemp R. Niver.
