Atmospheric perturbations on nearly circular satellite orbits
This report describes a simple technique for determining the effects of air drag on a nearly circular satellite orbit. Over any single orbit, the change in orbital period and radius can be obtained as a function of sub D A/M. Several graphs are included where Sub D 2 with observa tions of the ANNA 1b Satellite.
