Puppets - the complete mask? : Richard Bradshaw, Artistic Director of the Marionette Theatre of Australia, discusses some of the ideas which have been behind productions in recent years. In particular, the different ways in which puppets may be worked and their relationship to the puppeteer are demonstarted with the help of two members of the company. Of special interest will be two kinds of puppet developed especially with TV in mind and the possibility of using "Chroma-Key" technique to add background and hide puppeteers.
