He married Ann Clarke and they were the parents of several children, Alice, James, Mary, John, Elisha, Frances and Dorothy. Their descendant Peter Giscome married Ellen Miller, of Arican descent. Descendants live in Canada, Panama and several states in the United States including Michigan.
