Benjamin Brackett of the Carolinas : Upton, Black, Boyd, Coe, Butler, Smith (related lines)

Benjamin Brackett (ca. 1740-1810) was living at or near Charleston, South Carolina, 1767-1770. By 1772, he was living in Old Tyron County, North Carolina. He was in Rutherford County, North Carolina, by 1800 and had moved to Burke County, North Carolina, by 1805. He married twice and was the father of at least seven children. He died before July 1810. Descendants and relatives lived in North Carolina, Kentucky, Oklahoma, Texas, Georgia, California, Oregon, Tennessee, Illinois, Indiana and elsewhere.
