Francis Adams (1677-1758) was a son of Richard Adams, and immigrated from England to Watertown, Massachusetts about 1692 with his sister Jemima, to join their father who had immigrated earlier. Jemima soon returned to England, but Francis remained in Watertown. He moved to Plymouth about 1700k, and married Mary Buck soon after, subsequently moving to Kingston, Massachusetts. Descendants and relatives lived in New England, Washington, D.C., North Carolina, Minnesota and elsewhere.
