John Marks, Peter Jones, Overton Jones, Charles Pelham, Callohill Mennis, Claiborne Lawson, Nathan Reid, and Curtis Kendall. Included also are accounts of Johnson's son, Henry W. Johnson. U. Va. and Hampden-Sydney College student; farm dairy entries, 1809-12 & 1832-34; slave records, 1766-1840, of births, deaths, and purchases; and family records of Johnson and his wife, Elizabeth (Meriwether) Johnson and of their son, Thomas Johnson and his wife, Ann Catherine Harriett (Washington) Johnson, originally of Albemarle Co., and Thomas, jr.'s 2d wife Martha (Winston) Johnson. Thomas, jr. lived chiefly at Glenhill, Louisa Co., and later at Roundabout Castle, Louisa Co.
