Oral history interview with Marc Ellis

Interview conducted for Voices from the Catholic Worker. Author and professor of Jewish theology at Maryknoll School of Theology, Marc Ellis discusses his involvement with the Catholic Worker, his academic career, and his work on Jewish liberation theology. He talks about his year at St. Joseph House of Hospitality in New York, and his book, A year at the Catholic Worker, which details that time. He discusses his studies at Marquette University and Florida State University and what led him to his position at Maryknoll School of Theology. He also talks about Catholic doctrine, and how the Catholic Worker has affected it. Finally he discusses Jewish-Christian relations, giving his perspective as a Jewish professor in a Catholic environment. Interviewed by Rosalie Riegle Troester.
