For Imogene and her daughter Jeanette, life as pastors' wives is proving more difficult than they first imagined. When Lemuel asks her to leave her beloved farm in rural Georgia and live in the parsonage in town, Imogene knows no one will be more upset than her neice Loutishe, who grew up on the farm. Meanwhile Jeanette is so terrified of becoming the "church lady," she does whatever it takes to shake things up--including joining an erotic bull riding contest. But tragedy hits their neighbor and a family emergency forces everyone to reevaluate relationships with each other and God.
