Outlaws of the desert: Hoppy and his Bar 20 sidekicks capture a magnificent horse, Thundercloud, for owner Charles Grant. Grant then invites Hoppy to accompany him to Saudi Arabia to purchase prize horses for the Army from Sheik Suleiman. Lost Canyon: Jeff Burton and his gang of rustlers conspire with a crooked banker to buy up all the nearby ranches. Bar 20: A Wells Fargo stagecoach is held up while Hopalong Cassidy is looking over some cattle he wants to buy, and he rides off to find the bandits. The eagle's brood: A Mexican boy, Pablo, has witnessed his parents' muder and is now in danger of being killed by the gang and their brutal leader Big Henry. Lumberjack: Hoppy is attending Julie Peters' wedding to land-poor Ben Jordan. As the wedding party leaves, Ben is murderd at the doorstep. Hoppy discovers that Ben's valuable timberland in Pinerock is about to be auctioned because of delinquent taxes.
