"A nefropatia hiperuricemica familial juvenil (NHFJ) e uma doenca genetica com heranca autossomica dominante caracterizada por excrecao urinaria reduzida de acido urico, inicio precoce de hiperuricemia, artrite gotosa e insuficiencia renal progressiva. O diagnostico de artropatia e hiperuricemia em criancas, adolescentes e mulheres jovens deve conduzir a investigacao. Neste trrabalho, apresentam-se duas pacientes: mae, com 40 anos de idade, e filha, com 20 anos, com evidencias clinico-laboratoriais compativeis com a NHFJ. Acredita-se ser esta a primeira ocorrencia relatada de NHFJ no Brasil.(au)."@pt
