"Un groupe d'anarchistes enlève l'ambassadeur américain à Paris et le séquestre dans une ferme ambandonnée. La police se met en branle et le commissaire Goémond est chargé de l'enquête. Une heureuse coïncidence lui fournit la photo de quelques-uns des anarchistes et il finit par découvrir l'existence de la ferme. Il en organise le siège, quitte à risquer la vie de l'ambassadeur dans l'opération. Tous les anarchistes sont abattus sauf leur chef, un certain Diaz, qui parvient à s'enfuir. Goémond lui tend un piège et les deux hommes s'entretuent."
