Interview conducted for Dorothy Day : portraits by those who knew her. Father Louis Vitale, O.F.M., discusses his encounters with Dorothy Day as well as the Catholic Worker Movement in general. He talks about how he first met Day while in Stockton, Calif. He then talks about his involvement with draft resistance in California and Day's involvement in the trial of Pat Jordan, another draft resister. He discusses the impact Day had on him personally, and talks about her radicalism and political progressivism. Interviewed by Rosalie G. Riegle. Interruptions in audio present in original recording.
